BUDDHIST BLESSING CEREMONY

Hue is the center of Buddhism in Vietnam. There are more than 30 ancient pagodas constructed over 300 years ago and hundreds of temples and pagodas built in the early 19th century. Ba La Mat pagoda was built in 1885. Upon arrival, bring offerings such as fruits & flowers (that your guide prepared beforehand) to the monks. The monks will take you around the pagoda to give you an overview of the compound and daily life. Then, enjoy a prayer ceremony. Close your eyes while holding the candles and whisper your wish. After the ceremony, receive a keepsake from the monks, a symbol statue of happiness, to remind you of this special moment.
